Sexual Health Counseling in Gangnam, Seoul, without judgment

Sexual health counseling is a private conversation with a doctor about any part of your sex life: desire, arousal, orgasm, pain, contraception, infections, or changes after childbirth and menopause. At Sinsoe Women's Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, it is led by female doctors, including the clinic's chief doctor, who is academic chair of a Korean society for women's sexual medicine. The basics

What is sexual health counseling?

Sexual health counseling gives you time and space to talk about sex with a doctor who understands both the medical and the emotional side. Many women carry questions for years because they don't know who to ask.

Unlike talk therapy alone, a gynecologist can also check for physical causes, such as dryness, infection, hormone changes or tight pelvic muscles, and treat them. Unlike a quick check-up, there is time to talk.

At Sinsoe, counseling is led by female doctors with a special interest in women's sexual medicine. Chief doctor Dr. Park Jung-won is academic chair of a Korean society in this field.

Ways to start

Three ways to use sexual health counseling

Choose the format that feels right for you. You can change it later.

One-to-one consultation

A private conversation with a female doctor about your concerns, with an exam only if you want one and it would help.

A first step

Couple counseling

You and your partner talk with the doctor together. Useful when desire, pain or communication affect you both.

Shared concerns

Counseling plus treatment

When a physical cause is found, counseling is combined with medical care. See low libido.
